The 2018 vintage experienced abundant rains that were followed by lots of filtered light in spring and early summer. Both bud break and flowering occurred a bit late, but under ideal weather conditions, creating a plentiful and even fruit set.
Sourced from the organic Don Miguel Vineyard in Russian River Valley, our 2019 Chardonnay is unfiltered and non-malolactic. It offers beautifully complex flavors and aromas of of candied yellow apple, lemon, brioche, and honey. The mouth-feel presents fresh acidity that leans toward a French style of Chardonnay. Our 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon has power and finesse. The tannins are chalky and fine. On the nose, aromas of baking spices and mocha jump out of the glass along with black plum and gravely minerality. The palate is brighter with more red fruits, black pepper, and balanced acidity.
Our 2021 Rosé of Pinot Noir exudes flavors of lime zest, tangerine, and candied grapefruit complimented beautifully by bright acidity and a lively finish. This Rosé is whole cluster pressed, fermented with native yeast, and aged on the lees for 5 month in stainless steel and 10% neutral oak.
Our Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from Somerson Estate in the eastern hills of Napa Valley. It is beautifully balanced with aromas of lemon, lychee and honeysuckle. Peach and grapefruit emerge on the palate along with the perfect amount of acidity. With only 100 cases produced this vintage, you must be a Kelleher Wine Club Member to purchase.
