2016 Brix Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
This 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon has power and finesse, having aged for two years in barrel and three years in bottle before release. The tannins are chalky and fine, making this wine very approachable now with potential to age for another 10 years. On the nose, aromas of baking spices and mocha jump out of the glass along with black plum and gravely minerality. The palate is brighter with more red fruits, black pepper, and balanced acidity.

Vineyard Notes
The 2016 growing season was nearly perfect, beginning with an ample amount of rainfall over the winter. Summer was moderately hot while fall was consistent and temperate, allowing us to harvest at the ideal level of ripeness (aka degrees Brix!).
This vintage of our ‘Brix Vineyard’ Cabernet Sauvignon is a perfect blend of fruit from three different blocks in our Oakville vineyard.
