2009 Kelleher "Block 21" Sauvignon Blanc
We produced just 220 cases of our amazing Sauvignon Blanc. This is a first release for us with this varietal and our winemaker, Craig Becker, hit a home run...
We sourced this fruit from Crocker Vineyard up in St. Helena. We used just 10% french oak with the balance in stainless steel barrels. Our 2009 Kelleher Family Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc has bright aromatics of tropical notes, melon, and slight citrus. The acid is bright and balanced, with the fruit persisting from the nose to the palate. The middle palate is slightly creamy and leads into a long crisp finish.
